[Health] 3 Ways to ensure that you exercise throughout the day

Exercising is so important, it not only ensures that you stay fit and look young, but it also keeps you motivated and helps you stay up and on your own. My dad used to say ” Our body is a machine, the more you keep it moving, the more it shines”. I now find his words so true when i compare myself against other colleagues of same age who often find walking up the stairs a big challenge whereas i usually find myself walking up the stairs with ease.

This article describes 3 ways which i often use to ensure that i am exercising even if i dont have time to visit the gym or go for long walks in morning or evenings.

1.) Ensure that you make friend with the stairs

If you work in a building which has stairs and elevators both, try taking the stairs when you have to the floors upstairs. Going up the stairs might make you get to the upper floor bit longer, but believe me you will be burning quite some fat while you walk up. I am sure, you can do this atleast once in day if not always.

2.) Suck your stomach in  ( known as Kapalbhati Pranayam in Yoga)

In Yoga, it is known as a Kapalbhati Pranayam, in this exercise, you need to suck your stomach in and out. You can do this while working as well. Just suck in your stomach for five minutes of time throughout the day. This is a proven technique and many men and women have benefited from it and have have even lost weight doing this.

3.) Do some housework

If you are someone who stays in the house, doing some house chores is a good way of burning some extra calories and staying fit.Try to set aside thirty minutes a day to vacuum, dust and sweep. You’ll be getting a good workout and you’ll be getting your heart rate up. Getting a heart rate up is the most important step for losing weight and ensuring that your metabolism rate goes up.

These are the three ways i recommend to anyone who doesnt have enough time for the gym but would still like to ensure staying fit and healthy.
